Because of Thailand

19 Aug

Here’s that playlist I was bragging on in my post about Chiang Mai and Pai. Through grad school, I got really into making mixes: things the length of a CD-R revolving around a certain mood, occasion, or person. Here’s the trifecta. It’s called Because of Thailand and has a pretty laid-back feel to it, if not a little folky in some places. If you want to cop this ish, send me an e-mail.

  1. Glory             (The Acorn)
  2. Fine For Now             (Grizzly Bear)
  3. Furr            (Blitzen Trapper)
  4. Dirt            (WU LYF)
  5. Strangers            (The Duchess & the Duke)
  6. Blood Bank            (Bon Iver)
  7. Tree by the River            (Iron & Wine)
  8. Wild Eyes            (The Local Natives)
  9. Turn You On            (Joseph Arthur)
  10. I Was a Lover            (TV On The Radio)
  11. Want You Still ft. Kilo Kush            (The Jet Age of Tomorrow)
  12. No One’s Gonna Love You            (Cee Lo Green)
  13. Doomsday            (Elvis Perkins in Dearland)
  14. If It Wasn’t for Bad             (Elton John & Leon Russell)
  15. In the Aeroplane Over the Sea             (Neutral Milk Hotel)
  16. High Lonesome (The Gaslight Anthem)
  17. Hell or High Water             (William Elliott Whitmore)
  18. To the North             (Matthew and the Atlas)
